Today is day 3 on the specials calendar.
2nd and 3rd grade LTM today


Teacher evaluation instrument training after-school for new to Gibson teaching staff, optional for other teachers. Teachers will also be assigned mentors at this meeting.
Even if you do not attend the training , all teachers need to email copies of your PDP to your assigned administrator by September 17. All certified teachers need to complete PDP if you are not on the summative cycle this year. Please complete the self assessment(which you do not turn or share) to complete your PDP.

Mandatory gradebook training for 3-5 teachers-next Monday 7:30 in lab. For most it will be a quick refresher. Sign up on-line : "NCWISE Elementary gradebook setup"-location-Gibson.
PBIS CORNER
Please consider signing up to sponsor a PBIS raffle. It could be a grade level, group of staff, you may have something really neat to donate for a raffle. Any help will be appreciated.
Also not discussed yesterday was the responsibility homerooms have for the first Gibson Grizzly den shopping date.
September 24-October 1
September 24-first grade
September 27-Pre-K-Kindergarten
September 28-second grade
September 29-third grade
September 30-fourth grade
October 1-fifth grade

Grade levels will determine the shopping times for your grade level on your assigned day. You best know your schedule and what would work best. I will give grade chairs the times on those days volunteers will be helping. If we can't get volunteers, teachers and assistants will be responsible for manning the store. Please let know or feel free to contact directly any parent or volunteer you think who may be available to help. I will let grade chairs know we this info is needed.
