After-school tutoring

Mrs. Sawyer is having another round of minor surgery. Keep her in your thoughts and prayers.
As you begin planning end of the year activities, please keep the calendar given out Tuesday to avoid conflicts.
Please send the dates of class or grade level picnics to administrators as soon as you determine them.
Regarding class picnics and other once a year events, students should not be excluded from these events under any circumstance. Please do not tie participation in these events to behavior. Nothing would create a greater sense of alienation, in my opinion, than be excluded from something that happens only once. If there are students whose behavior has been consistently difficult, there are other things such as asking parent or guardian to attend picnics and or field day, having students sit out for a brief period (10 minutes or less) are options.

Thanks to everyone who completed the TWC survey-we had a 74% response rate. The info will be very important to foster school improvement.
Teacher Assistant of the quarter nominations can be emailed to Ron on Monday and Tuesday. Classified staff will vote on Wednesday for TA of the quarter.
