Today is day 1 on the specials calendar.
EOG math retesting ends today
Hispanic music fest today starting at 1:00
third grade classes -1:00-1:30 (specialists need to monitor students)
fifth grade 1:30-2:00
fourth grade-2:00-2:30
The music fest will be broadcast on TV.
Fifth grade awards day rehearsal in gym from 11-12:10
The last week of school will be full of activities and combined with the closing school activities, this could be a stressful time for kids and adults. I would everybody to take a breath if you feel anxious, angry or stressed. No matter what deadline is missed or whatever book is lost or work not completed, it will be OK. If everything isn't done just right, so be it. Five to eleven year old kids will make mistakes, just like we do. The kids will look to you to have a pleasant and positive end to the school year. You only get one chance to make a memory about the end of school.
