Today is day 3 on the specials calendar
Please remember to fill out three important things:
State health plan-on-line (deadline April 9)
Teacher intent for 2010-2011-on-line (deadline April 16)
Teacher Working Conditions Survey on line. Forty-four(44) percent of eligible staff have completed the survey. That's great. We want to top our response rate of 93% from 2 years ago.
Mrs. Snipes away
Completed Report cards are must downloaded to the R drive no later than 3:30 on April 9. Report cards go home April 14th.
March 30 is an Rc day-Staff without workshops may take annual leave. After today, all staff will be required to work on Rc days. Comp time may not be used.
March 31-Rs day.-Staff may take annual leave, use comp time (get pre-approval) or choose to work June 16th as a make up day. There will be a sign up sheet in the mailroom. Please sign up your intent by next Monday, March 29.
Please join me in thanking Mrs. Britton for all of her hard work as our duty free lunch monitor. After April 16-homeroom teachers must resume eating in the cafeteria EXCEPT for the two duty free days arranged with assistants. All homeroom teachers need to eat with your class three out of five days per week.
PBS corner-Please make sure that if you write a student a D-1, that the student comes with the form. If you place a form in the box of an administrator, it is very possible (likely even) that the issue may not be dealt with for 1-2 days or more. The reason being, mailboxes may not be checked frequently and if a form is sent, it's easy to put it down and address more visible needs (stuff happens). Having the student with the D-1 will help ensure the issue will be addressed in a timely manner. Bottom Line-please don't put D-1's in my mailbox. Any previous directions along those lines on my part was wrong.
