2010 Census
In order to promote participation in the 2010 US Census, the Dept of Education has authorized and requested schools have activities explaining the census and it's importance to everyone. There are lessons, at home packets, materials and websites that teachers are encouraged to use.
March 22-March 26 is Census week in WSFCS. At our March 16th staff meeting, we will share ideas for lessons. Prior to that we will begin to distribute materials to classrooms. We have received limited materials and will start with 5th grade and move downward until materials are distributed.
